Cook Street: Tenth Anniversary Logo
I was having lunch with Terry one afternoon and she mentions that she has an
opportunity to do a
sweepstakes with Food Network in conjunction with their 10th Anniversary. But she needs graphics. I told her I would be glad to help out and inquired about the lead time for the project.
"Well they want the website up by next week."
Gulp. Swallow. Get busy.
Objective:
To create an identity around the upcoming anniversary. Create graphics for two separate websites, promotional items, and signages. Little turnaround. Little budget.
Solution:
Keep it simple.
I created a simple typographical treatment that would marry well on line and in print. I also transitioned the logo into another portion of the anniversary–The Recipe 10 contest.
The outlines were imulated with icons that could be switched in and out for graphics.
